You will be guided through a visual and written expression of who you are at this time in your life. No experience in writing or sketching is necessary.
The sketching aspect is like free fall writing – it is about rhythm and expression. Remember that in this workshop you are just sketching, you are not drawing or doing anatomical studies.
You will be encouraged to create one sketch which might be a symbol of the cover page of your life. Sketching is part of art and art leads us to new places within ourselves.
It allows us to transcend linear time! And leads us into possibilities that weren’t realized and those that might be.
You can also bring this concept that you learn today, into your life after you leave the workshop. Sometimes in our lives our intent is to write and the words won’t flow. That is when we can turn to sketching or painting and we express in a whole new way through color and shape.
