Writing out the Wrinkles

A Writing Adventure

Part I and II

This is one of the

writing exercises

we did in one of the classes.

Life is a constant source of erosion and build-up. We are propelled forward and backward by the forces of situations that present themselves to us, that sweep us off our feet, that paralyze us, move us to tears or laughter.

We are a cycle of change, a statement of significance, we are layered over and multi-faceted with the things that swim inside us or move through us.

Write out what has contributed to the “etchings” in your life.

What has marked you?

One of the comments from a participant. Thank you Diane!

This course flew by like autumn leaves blown off the trees.

Though I didn’t come out a poet, we did lots of writing – both in class and as homework assignments.

Barbara openly shared some of her writing in the context of her life, which in turn, fostered personal sharing among the participants.

It was a most valuable and worthwhile experience, that, like autumn, ended much too soon!
