Workshop Thoughts

It is impossible to post every workshop I’ve had the pleasure of giving, but I have listed a few that represent some of the themes/topics I seem to repeat as per request or time of year.

I am available  for workshops that involve adults, teens or children and feel that a movement into the written word is one way of keeping in touch with our inner soulspace but also as an outlet for expression of thoughts and feelings from the everyday.

Not everything that is written has to be shared. But to acknowledge some facets of our lives or circumstances, or just how we view something, is then marked in black and white on the paper and stands as an acknowledgement that what we go through or feel, is real…at least for that time in our lives.

Perhaps that is why I find journaling so helpful. We document points in our lives and later can go back and reflect on these moments, either as a way of saying goodbye, I have moved on…or as a means to keep ourselves aware of what is going on inside of us.

Writing workshops offer us a place to gather energy and inspiration from other writers or just as a means to tapping into some hidden place we normally might not think of. Sharing our words lends us a sense of community and leads us to openness and genuineness.
